Vivian Henry, 97

 

 Vivian Henry, 97, of Naples, Florida passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Avon Hospice in Naples.

 

 Mrs. Henry and her late husband, Woodrow Henry Sr., owned and operated Camp Bobbin Hollow in Amherst, Massachusetts, one of the premier riding camps for girls in this country for over 20 years. The camp attracted girls from all over the world.

 

 She also operated the Bobbin Hollow Stable, where she bred, raised, trained, and showed champion American Saddlebred and American Morgan horses. These horses were winners at most of the major shows including the World’s Championship Horse Show in Louisville, Kentucky, and the Morgan Grand National in Oklahoma City.

 

 Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Henry Sr., and four brothers. She is survived by her daughter Marsha Henry Shepard and her husband, Bill Carrington of Shelbyville, Tennessee; one son, Woodrow Henry Jr. of Naples, Florida; three grandsons, Richard Shawn (Kylee) Shepard, Granby, Massachusetts; Christopher Scott (Ashlea) Shepard, Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Charles Chandler Henry; one granddaughter, Lark Rene Henry, Naples, Florida; three great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Jordyn Shepard, Granby, Massachusetts and Cruz Shepard, Murfreresboro, Tennessee; one brother, Clifford White, Granby, Massachusetts.
