Martin L. Waldman, 89
Martin L. Waldman, 89, of Ewing, NJ, passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, at Compassionate Care Hospice in Hamilton, NJ. Born in Highland Park, NJ, he had resided in Hopewell Township for more than 40 years before moving to Ewing.
Son of the late Jack and Anna (Dietel) Waldman, father of the late Paul Waldman and husband of the late Margaret L. Waldman, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Martin L. Jr. and Linda Waldman of Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann E. and Scott Disbrow of Pennington; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Waldman of Ocean Port, NJ; seven grandchildren, Erin Disbrow (Jorge Ramirez), Kerry Disbrow (Rachael Carmichael), Colin Disbrow (Jenn Rizzo), Ashley (Kevin Walsh), Brittany Waldman, Jason Waldman, Jackie (Steve Berlowski), and great-grandchildren, Anders, Logan, Maddy, Tyler, Sorrel and Reese.
Marty was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was a horse trainer for over 50 years and cared for each and every student and customer who passed through the barn doors. The positivity and impact he had on his students has shown through greatly in the endless outpouring of love and memories they have provided. Marty always surrounded himself with loving friends and family, but most importantly with Peg, the love of his life for over 65 years.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, with the Rev. William McQuoid officiating. The viewing was held at the funeral home. Burial followed in Harbourton Cemetery.
