Harry Mark Sebring

 

 Harry Mark Sebring passed away early Saturday morning, June 20, 2015 at the Berkshire Medical Center after a brief illness and long battle with cancer. Born in Leighton, PA, Harry graduated Lehighton High School in 1969, and Penn State University in 1973.

 

 Harry established a Morgan training stables in 1980 and began training show horses with his then employee, Carolyn. In 1983, they were married and continued a successful business throughout their lives together. As well as training horses, Harry was a proud member of the American Morgan Horse Association where he served as a board member for many years, and association president for two terms. Harry also actively supported the United Professional Horseman’s Association for many years. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, and three children, James, Jessica, and Sara Sebring of Richmond, MA and his sister, Laura Carr of Lehighton, PA, as well as an extended loving family.

 

 A Celebration of his Life and Memorial Service will be held at Sebring Stables on July 11th, 2015 at 11 a.m. A scholarship fund in Harry’s name is being established to benefit young, Morgan horse enthusiasts. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The AMHA Charitable Trust or the BMC Cancer Center Fund, both in care of the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home.
