Dozier Wallace, 92 (father of photographer Sandra Hall)

 

 Dozier Wallace was born July 19, 1921 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late James Franklyn and Aurilla Katherine Sellers Wallace. He was a retired truck driver whose career spanned over 60 years. Mr. Wallace was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, and a member of the Chesterfield American Legion Post 74. He was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church, the BWZ Men’s Club, and the Chesterfield Masonic Lodge # 220. Dozier was a founding member of the Dixie Saddle Club. He enjoyed riding horses, going to horse shows, and raising bulldogs. Dozier enjoyed life, and was a friend to all. In addition to his parents, Dozier was preceded in death by three brothers, J.P., Dick, and Doc Wallace; and one sister, Edith Faye Wallace.

 

 Survivors in his wife of 66 years, Foye Sellers Wallace; one Son, Dozier Franklyn “Frankie” Wallace, Jr. and Rachel Brooks; one daughter, Sandra Wallace Hall and husband Keith Hall; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister, three sister-in-laws; and two brother-in-laws.
