AMERICAN SADDLEBRED HORSE ASSOCIATION WELCOMES NEW DIRECTORS FOR 2015

The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) is pleased to announce the election of seven new members to its Board of Directors, who will join the Board starting in January of 2015 at the UPHA Convention, which will host the ASHA annual meeting.

Allen Bosworth, Sandra Currier, Elisabeth Goth, Donna Pettry-Smith, and Jenny Taylor were elected to the ASHA Board of Directors for a term of three years, starting in 2015.  Also re-elected were current ASHA board members David Rudder and Kenny Wheeler.

ASHA offered its members the opportunity to vote for new Directors either electronically or by the traditional paper ballot during the month of November 2014.  The ballot count was ratified by members of the ASHA Board for accuracy, and approved by the ASHA Executive Committee on December 8, 2014.

Returning members of the 2015 ASHA Board include Bret Day, Leslie Rainbolt-Forbes, Bob Funkhouser, Jackie Hale, Chuck Herbert, Stacey Kipper-Perrelli, Holly Nichols, David Mount, Tandy Patrick, Susan Shepherd, and Matt Shiflet.  New officers and Executive Committee members for 2015 will be elected by the Board at its January 2015 meeting in Savannah, Ga. held in conjunction with the UPHA Convention.

The ASHA Board bids a fond farewell to Board Member, Betsy Boone, who has completed her second of two three-year terms. The Board sincerely appreciates her service to the breed.
